Firefox's update manager isn't picking it up.

Did the newest Java update screw your 3.5.2 up also? Anyone?

EDIT:
Nevermind - I just had to clear out my cache.

As mentioned in the other thread this update again broke my issues with FF not remembering login info. I tried to uninstall delete and clean many times over but it still remains broken. Unfortunately its a bit frustrating for me so i've ditched it for now for Chrome. Ill try again in a few days, not sure what's going on.

Uninstall and run cleaner. It seems to do a good job of fixing a lot of these problems.

Yeah, ive tried that, multiple of times but still not luck. Im just going to try out Chrome for a bit and then come back to FF. Obviously its something to do with my system as my work one has no issues whats so ever. Maybe whatever it is will sort its self out.

Installation was a bit iffy on both my XP and Vista system. Firefox failed to restart and the firefox.exe process got stuck running.

Firefox.exe is also frequently failing to close on my XP system after general surfing. Last time round, manually ending the process deleted all my cookies and the exceptions list.

Never had these issues until 3.5.2

I hope there there will be a 64-bit version of Firefox when they release 3.6.

64-bit Fox won't you do much good when majority of the plugins are still 32, like say Flash.

Installed Portable but whilst other extensions do install, AdBlock does not. That is, it claims to and prompts for a restart but then does not show up.

OK, so i finally figured out why my saved passwords and such are not saving... ive always had my settings to NOT remember my history. By doing this it clears out all of your cookies so nothing will be saved. I changed it to CUSTOM and only checked off ACCEPT COOKIES/THIRD PARTY and its working wonderfully.... YAY.

With Portable, some Add-ons must be installed manually -that is, extracted and their folder named according to an internal file.

Anyhoo, does anyone know how to restrict Firefox to a one Window instance? Occasionally a second will be opened and I do not see any advantage to it over a new tab.
