Thank you for that . My wife has been needing a new mouse, so I will use that mouse, and my wife will use my current mouse, plus I get $50 in steam wallet, good deal really.

I don't understand this math. You spend $70 and get a free $50 for your Steam wallet. How does that equate to $20 for the mouse?

People like that kind of fuzzy math because it makes the deal seem better. Technically it's not $20 for the mouse. You're paying $70 for it and you get $50 to spend on Steam. In realworld terms though someone is paying for that $50 of Steam credit, and it's the customer in the end. Even at "$20" for the mouse I guarantee Razer is still making money, which shows how much of a markup they have on it.

^^ It's not dickbutting, it's simple math so that people don't get the wrong impression. You can't say you're getting a mouse for $20 when it in fact costs over three times that no matter what special bonus funny money they tack on.

There's no subtraction. You pay the full $70 and get $50 in your Steam wallet. You aren't saving a dime, just getting some extra funbux for your purchase.

It's not fuzzy math though it's just bad math. I understand the idea that you're "buy $50 Steambux get a Razor mouse for $20!" but that's not the case here unless dude just misspoke and it IS a killer deal.

Not bad math at all. If one will spend $50 on Steam anyways, then why not pay $70 for a really nice mouse (if you need/want it) and $50 Steam credit combo pack.

$70 total price - $50 Steam card = $20 Mouse. Or $20 Mouse + $50 Steam card = $70 Total. Doesn't matter how you spin it, I am buying a mouse that sells for $70 at retail for only $20, cause I will end up spending $50 on Steam no matter what.

Also far from funny money, it is a real $50 value that can be spent on $50 worth of software on Steam.

Anyone who can do simple math and regularly spend money on Steam can see what a fantastic value that deal is.

you guys are ****ing annoying.

It's a $70 mouse that comes with $50 on steam. It's saving me money in the long run because it saves me that $50 that I will absolutely inevitably use on steam.

So I'm spending $70. I'm getting $50 back in form of dollar currency. The mouse has only cost $20 now.

this argument is retarded.

BTW thanks for posting it.. you're making me question whether I should order a Steelseries Rival now. I've heard awful things about Razer's quality (especially lately) so I might just stick with the Rival anyway.

If they'd last longer i'd only buy razer mice. Sadly they don't. The rival got good reviews, so maybe you should really give it a try.

But you cannot say the mouse costs $20 unless it costs $20. That's what's so wrong about it is that it costs $70, no matter what you do or say you have to spend $70 on it. Yes it's a fantastic deal to get $50 in Steambux from this offer, but saying the mouse costs $20 is a blatant lie.

Serious question -

Does it really matter that much to you? Holy ****. It's almost like some of you want to argue about the most mundane, irrelevant, insensible **** just to argue about something.

PC Gamer and Bundle Stars are giving away 1 million SpaceChem Steam keys for free. Facebook liking is involved.

http://www.pcgamer.com/2014/06/25/we...-bundle-stars/

It's a little fun engineering/chemistry game that was surprisingly more enjoyable than I expected.

lol, Dragon Age Origins is showing -125% off on Steam. Wonder if you'll get a credit for purchasing?

Edit: Didn't take long for them to fix it, 75% off showing now.
