Bought some "cooling" neck gaiters after seeing a co worker with one. Sad I didn't think of getting some earlier. It's been a warm one so far and having something I can continually dip into the river to cool my ass off will be handy.

Finished the color on my Venom leg tat. It wraps around the front/back of my leg, pretty huge.

Thanks dude. Pretty happy with it. 13 hours for that guy alone.

Next up is Deadpool on the other side of the leg (first host of the Venom symbiote, and I love the character). All the transitions will be comic style, and in the end the leg is going to look like a comic book. I’m not doing the concept justice but it looks rad all drawn out).

LG 65 C9 Cancelled because Amazon had stock but it was damaged and new date moved to 22nd July
LG 65 C9 Cancelled because the dude who was claiming to sell on noon.com never answered the support line
Samsung Q80T Picked this up last night but had so much remorse even though this was ranked #2 for all gaming tv sets for 2020 by all major websites
LG 65 CX Why buy #2 when you can buy #1 so forked out about 900 more and got 2 years guarantee against defects, damages, breakage, liquid damage etc.

Hopefully the set that arrives is pristine and my quest for TV for my bedroom is over after 20 days.

What was the issue with the Q80T KAC? I've been reading good things about them too...

My stupidity.

But from my perspective

Q80T

Pros:
Q80T has better SDR and HD content upscaling
Faster response times in games (even compared to OLED)
Great HDR performance
Freesync support - upcoming console ready
Better sound
(All of this is also available in last years Q70R that I bought already)
Full array lighting that works much better than other edge lit TVs

Cons:
Only 1 HDMI 2.1 port meaning only 1 console can be connected
Relatively poor viewing angles
Not as deep blacks as OLED
Blooming in dark and high contrast screens (like big white subtitles, or pitch black scenes with some lights - space movie scenes)
Not as bright as Q90R or Q90T that I saw in store
No Dolby Vision

CX OLED

Pros:
ePenos marks
#1 Top rated tv globally
4 HDMI 2.1 ports
Both Gsync and freesync
Deep blacks
Per pixel lighting and hence no blooming
Great color saturation

Cons:
Vertical banding potential
Image retention still a thing in 2020
Low resale value due to timer on the tv
Very expensive (for me it was 900 over)

At the end of the day I went through all the hassle of selling 3 TVs to get an OLED monitor but got greedy to also upgrade my Room TV. So it didn’t make sense to keep 900 in my pocket. The extra 900 I got an interest free loan to pay back in 6 installments.

That's a lot more of a detailed reply than I expected Appreciate you breaking it all down for me buddy. Specs on that CX are sweet. I'll probably hold off until I'm back to work...maybe the 2021 model will hit some of those cons. Thanks again for the info KAC

Kit from LockpickExtreme.

Got a bump key and a pick gun, but haven't really practiced the manual "dark arts" in a while...

...and yes, I do physical security assessments as part of my job. It's actually the most fun part.
