Default Logitech vs. Corsair Support

I have never been disappointed with Corsair support. I once contacted them on a bad H100i cooler (was bad after 7 days of use) and they shipped a new one. Second time recently I contacted them about a bad ML120 fan that has clicking sound. Explained to them that shipping out the fan would cost me 30-50 bucks and the guy already shipped a new fan. Meanwhile I had already ordered a 2 pack ML120 fan set from Amazon that also shipped. No problem, I have 3 fans enroute.

Now logitech. I created a support ticket clearly stating I lost the receipt because I bought headphones with the groceries from Carrefour. They wasted 2 weeks of my time and said yes your product is defective, go to store for warranty. I was like WTF dude, if I had the receipt I would've gone to the store already. It is clear that a frickin' Arab is handling logitech support in my region and probably has brain of the size of a peanut. So I just wrote them a stinker.

Honestly, next time I am really not buying a logitech product because this is the second time they have not stood behind their product and said something ridiculous like go back to the store. Btw their products claim 2-3 years international warranty but locally everyone says only 1 year warranty on products. So I am SOL if I purchase logitech products from here. I really need to plan a replacement mouse for my G502 and just exit all logitech products forever. Cock lovers. All of them.

Logitech is the **** and I've never had a problem with them. I'm not sure why they should send you a replacement if you can't show proof of purchase, though.

Might be an Arab country issue then. Next time I will order from US.
As for proof of purchase they can track the serial back to region/country etc. and mfg date. I have also shared videos of the product and am willing to send it back. They could've also told me this in first instance because my ticket clearly said "I DO NOT HAVE THE RECEIPT". Complete time wasters.

They can track it, but how do they know you purchased it? If you stole it, or bought it from someone broken, etc.

Logitech support has always been awesome to me, so I dunno. They replaced a broken mouse for me without even asking for it back. They told me to throw it out or use it as a baseball

Logitech. Corsair is still great, but I dont think there is a company that can beat Logitech.

Logitech is the only company ever that I told a mouse failed, and they overnighted me a new one without even wanting me to send the old one back, pay for shipping, nothing.

It was quite a surreal expeirence.

Got the new headset. Seems like a BNIB so it’s all good but I really don’t think this required a 30 day turnaround time.

Oh well. Can’t complain with either support. At least I got support. If it were ASUS they would have just declined it.

Logitech back in the day replace my old G900 for free and it wasn't even covered under warranty.

Corsair replaced my mouse cable out of warranty. And all I had to do was make a post on their forums which is an awesome forum by the way.

Maybe it was my fault that I didn’t have receipt but out of the 4 weeks, 1.5 weeks were spent in explaining a problem I had already mentioned in the very first message to them. And also their shipping approval took 3 days plus a weekend so another week in approval. Shipping itself was very fast though.

Overall, I learnt my lesson and am at least happy that they stood behind their product.
