Default Transfering OS/files/games, etc on new drive.

I'll be getting the seagate 320gb sata2, and want to transfer XP, and related programs/files, entirely. I know of Norton Ghost, HD Clone, and various others. Which would be the best, free option, with no internal errors; and what successes have you had? I just don't feel like formatting new HD, and installing XP Sp2, all over again. I have 3 partitions: C_root, D, and E; do any of the free programs detect, and copy them?

Thank you!

I would get the free Acronis True Image trial and use that to backup/restore from one disk to the other, or clone the partitions. I used it this weekend extensively with success - I moved from my 80gb HD to a 300gb Seagate, just copied my 2 partitions over and done.
