Looks like a good product. Sent this as a hint to Honda... course most bike makers as well should figure this out.

WD Black SN750 1TB NVME SSD

Need more space for games. It will be replacing a Corsair MP510 480GB NVME drive. I'll probably put the Corsair into an external enclosure.

The same reason I hate (and don't wear) contacts would be the same reason I can't get Lasik... crazy flinch reflex ... I freak out when stuff it heading at my eye. After reading about the Lasik process... nope nope nope, can't ever happen.

The procedure doesn't last that long.

Just think, you'll probably have decades of clear vision after you are done.

Tell the doctor about your nervousness.. I'm sure they could prescribe a Benzo like Xanax or Valium.
You won't be anxious after that.

I was having panic attacks, so I went to my Dr. She gave me a benzo, and said to only take it if I were having an attack. Never had to take one since, I guess just knowing I had a way to stop an attack was all I needed. Handy to have around!

Let us know how you like it. I was eyeing that one as one to try, but we settled on a Casper Wave. HATED IT. Got our money back and went with a less-fancy memory foam. Still always wonder if purple would have been more to taste.

That's the brand/company name. They aren't cheap, but I've heard they're amazing.

Holy crap. A king size that costs as much as my CX is ridiculous. I don’t care how amazing there’s no way to justify that price

They said that after 40 they get really "iffy" with doing it, which is why I waited until as close to 40 as I could.

Oh, and I didn't forget calling you my friend. Once I put in my 2 weeks they've been working me like a dog + I'm trying to train my senior guy to my place and he's shittin' kittens at the prospect.

Need more space for games. It will be replacing a Corsair MP510 480GB NVME drive. I'll probably put the Corsair into an external enclosure.
I got the 500GB WD Black SN750.

I hadn't bought anything from Newegg for about a year, so they gave me that $10 off coupon. So it was like $50.

No worries brudda. Call anytime. We got plenty of time to make the ten most wanted list. That's a worthy bucket list challenge!

Pre-ordered Serious Sam 4, got a good discount where I buy the Deluxe for the price of regular. Perhaps the only game I dare to pre-order these days.

They told me the more I could stay still and focus on the light, the better the outcome. I was 20/15 for a long time but now I'm 20/20. One of my eyes isn't as strong but the other makes up for it.

@ Cyko: What they didn't tell me about was the smell.

They’re going to feed me Xanax until I’m nice and chill, then I’m given 2 Valium (one to take while I’m being driven home, one when I get home). Despite all that, the fact that there’s going to be a smell is making me a little uneasy

I don't recall any specific smell. It's been too many years but it just seemed like a standard surgical room to me. The Xanax does help calm the nerves but at some point, you just have to say f*** it, I'm doing it and just get it done. The laser won't fire if your eye is not in the right position. If it's not, they will tell you "look straight ahead" or something but in your mind since you can't really see, you'll think "I thought I was".

You got this!

Thanks man. I know it won't be bad (know quite a few people that have had it done) but as soon as I heard smell I went I don't really even need the Xanax/Valium but I'm not turning down free pills if they're feeding it to me legally

I'm like 20/200 in each eye, so it's pretty much swimming underwater right now without contacts. I always wondered why my father in law had his laptop propped up on his chest when he was sitting in his living room but now that I'm practically blind I totally get it. He couldn't see sh*t so he HAD to keep it that close, LOL

The only part that is actually making me go "ugh" is having to wear the eye shield things when I sleep. I'm already the worlds lightest sleeper, so I'm gonna see if they can't give me something to keep me sleepy for the 4-5 nights I have to wear those things.
