Do you think there's a big December driver release incoming.

Usually AMD release a big Adrenaline driver update in December so do you think we'll get one before the new year. Might only have 6800 goodness but what do you think or would like to see?

Really hope so, because 20.11.2 are somewhat bugged. First time I experience a Enhanced Sync problem... Also had some trouble getting my monitor to work with my 6800 XT over displayport. Did a hard reset, and it never came back from blank. With HDMI all was good though........ After plugging in HDMI, booting in windows I could switch to DP.

Lawdy i hope not last time they did that I had "Seyiji's bug" and uploaded half a terabyte of data to some offshore spank bank server or some shiz !_!

But seriously tho I hope they drop something semi coo this year even tho there has been no werd and no hype. Not surprising with all the shiz on team reds plate. Then again the right hand don't know what the left hand is jerkin so the driver team could be cookin up something hawt in the background while the rest of the team werks the stranger

They left perf on the table no doubt. Launch driver has been pretty stable in comparison with past gpu launches and amd did hire more software guys to handle it.

AFAICT having the same number of RT cores shouldnt make them that slow. One test I saw but cant find the link for showed amd rt at 80% of ampere.

TBH I'm under whelmed with the 6800 release because I can't buy it and performance is meh compared to 3080. I'm really not sure it's actually available to buy. Vapoure ware just move on.

Unfortunately there seems little point I'm afraid. Sorry Falck you're in the smallest niche of gamers on the planet who actually own a 6800XT or 6900XT card. Not really much point from an AMD perspective to even bother releasing a big driver update. The last driver release just enabled RGB bling on those cards WTF. Well maybe next year.

As long as you don't have any general or game issues everything should be good. Early Navi drivers were full full of bugs that led to BSOD's and game crashes so that was a major issue. If it works as intended think yourself lucky.
