Default What's the last thing you purchased that's worth every penny?

Mine would have to be my sunglasses, I don't know how I went to long without them. Every time I put them on I can't believe how much better they make everything look while I'm driving. Not to mention I no longer get eye fatigue from the sun, I used to have to slap myself in the face to stay awake.

Worth every cent I spent on them.

My Toshiba laptop, bought in December 2007, still running strong to the extent that I haven't found a need to upgrade these past years, and this is with moderate gaming. My best purchase.

Feel free to take this to the right forum. Android does nothing for me, especially in Canada with no good handsets available. Check out that camera quality thread you started there if you want to see a big dealbreaker.

She's only a purchase in the technical sense that I had to pay the RSPCA kennels to keep her there when she first came in when I was working there until I could get my home sorted out for her to come to. Otherwise, she's family, and worth more than any amount of money.

iPhone 3GS and my Seiko Chronograph 100m watch. Bought both around a year ago and although there's obvious wear-and-tear (which I would've felt like pulling my hair out because of my OCD), I like them both equally as much ever since the first day I bought em. Haven't been so impressed with anything for so long since my 3dfx Voodoo 3D-accelerator, and that is saying something.

Worth every single penny. I laugh now at the time when I was weighing a Dell over this machine because of the 200 dollar premium.

And of course, my new machine:

Worth more than every penny. Its total parts came to only 500 with the H50 cooler being the most expensive part!

Sticking to big purchases:

Thinkpad X60 tablet. Got it a bit over two years ago really cheap (shop was closing up their business and getting rid of their stock). Best laptop I ever owned and tablet mode is a bliss for reading, taking notes and even plenty of gaming. Add amazing keyboard plus good battery life and we have a winner. Plus it's pretty small. Carried it around me through whole Europe and many press events, worked perfectly every time. Will never again buy non-Thinkpad laptop. I used to own Macbooks, Fujitsu-Siemens and Toshibas, but I will stay faithful now

I like it so much that last year I bought x61t for my father and couple months ago convinved his business partner (dad is a lawyer) to get x201t.

I deleted my previous post, this should have gone in its place, completely forgot about it. Its constantly being used, I don't know what I would do without it, everyone uses it. Bought it when it first came out, still going strong. Its a must have for any house, im not saying to go and buy the same model, just have a media player that plays files

Ive abused the crap out of this, left it on accidently in 100 degree heat for the entire day, screwed up flashing custom firmware on it, pulled the plug while it was running when I wasn't suppose to, and it still runs strong today.
