I wish chrome was as fluid as safari

I love my DNA but chrome and the stock browser don't compare to the smoothness of my iPhone 5. Is there a better browser or am I stuck with chrome till it gets better?

It might just be an OS/engine issue.

Dolphin with jetpack is as smooth as it gets on android. Can be tempermental at times though.

I dunno how smooth Safari is on recent hardware but Chrome on my S3 is perfectly fine imo. The only issue seems to be network lag, not render lag.

Firefox seems really good to me now, Opera Beta has been fantastic, and Dolphin has been my main for a long time.

Chrome on iOS is just a skin of safari with bugs.

I am happy with chrome on iOS. Do you have many free programs that may be lagging the device with all the data logging?

I use almost exclusively Firefox on Android. It is very smooth and supports AdBlock (important with limited bandwidth and data usage) and Flash (still being used many places). Generally supports a number of addons (number grows constantly).

I use chrome at home exclusively but I don't use it on my iphone because it lacks the favorites bar (which is what I use for 99% of my surfing).

I wish chrome on android could do basic things like displaying a damn forum correctly. Every second post doesnt get font re-size. I cannot believe a thing like this can be broken for months.

Are those forums not viewable via tapatalk?

I can't see why anyone would use a regular browser for forums when you have applications that handle it so much better.

I'm just used to having a broswer with several tabs that i can choose from. And that forums render correctly.

Only problem I find with Firefox on Android is the inability to properly play videos on various sites. I try the same sites in Chrome and it works fine. Apparently this issue has been reported since November but still no fix.

I have similar issues with Dolphin/Jetpack. When it works, it's fast. However, sometimes it will choose not to play videos or show pictures at all. Then on the exact same site, it will work just fine 60 minutes later... Chrome is slow, but it's reliable.
