Kingdom hospital(remake from Lars von Triers Hospital by Stephen King...i think it's only 13 or 14 episodes, but i REALLY liked it)

V->already a bit older sf-series but a classic

Strangely nobody mentioned the Simpsons? (yeah it's not really something you can watch back to back...how many seasons are there already?19?)

I just finished watching both seasons of Twin Peaks and holy crap it was awesome.

The movie sucked though.

Metal or Death, do yourself a favor and watch Twin Peaks. It's directed by David Lynch!

- The hardest thing about getting a Mac is telling your parents that you're gay.

- If I had the choice between being gay and owning a Mac, I would rather be gay, because if I owned a Mac I would be both gay and own a horrible computer.

- Imagine a giant cock flying towards your mouth, and there's nothing you can do about it. And you're like "Oh man, I'm gonna have to suck this thing", and you brace yourself to suck this giant cock. But then, at the last moment, it changes trajectory and hits you in the eye. You think to yourself "Well, at least I got that out of the way", but then the giant cock rears back and stabs your eye again, and again, and again. Eventually, this giant cock is penetrating your gray matter, and you begin to lose control of your motor skills. That's when the giant cock slaps you across the cheek, causing you to fall out of your chair. Unable to move and at your most vulnerable, the giant cock finally lodges itself in your anus, where it rests comfortably for 4, maybe 5 hours. That's what using Mac OSX is like.

Quick skimming I didn't see either Carnivale or Dead Like Me. Both excellent shows that were cut after their second seasons unfortunately. But yeah, I'd also second or third Spaced, Doctor Who, and Venture Bros if you still haven't seen any of those.

I like a lot of the suggestions, but my vote is for Veronica Mars. Start with the first season. Some of the episodes can be a little confusing (if watching one per week), but if you watch them back-to-back, it makes a lot of sense.

Basically, it's a season long mystery. Trust me, by the third episode, you'll be hooked.

I'd also recommend the Sci-Fi Channel mini-series The Lost Room. It had a unique mythology for a backstory, and the main plot was engaging, as were the characters.

In fact, a lot of SciFi's mini-series are quite good. I enjoyed both Dunes, I still haven't finished The Triangle but I liked what I've seen so far, I thought 5 Days To Midnight was very interesting, and I absolutely loved Taken.

Okay 1st off, if you have a twisted sense of humor, and watched Johnny Quest, Scooby-Doo, or any old cartoon from the 70-80's time, chances are, you will love Venture Bros. Its the only show I care to watch on tv nowadays. +++++

Twin Peaks was also mentioned at least twice, its a great mindf*ck, and a twisted story. Too bad it leaves you hanging at the end, since it was cancelled before lots of stuff was resolved. ++++

SOAP- an 80's sitcom. Imagine a soap opera written by comedians, and not romance novelists. Great intertwining, funny plots! Burt is a great character, as is the butler, Benson. But alas, it also was cancelled before its time. Sure to make you laugh, though. ++++

Night Court- I dunno if its out on DVD. If not, it should be. Great ensemble cast, great comedy. ++++

BullSh*t- Penn and Teller. GREAT cable series. Check it out, if you haven't already. They debunk all sorts of crap, and make it funny, too. +++++

If you're into the old-school transformers, or older anime, you should check out the Robotech series. Its a lot of episodes, and there also is the subtitled Japanese version, but if you're into the genre, this is the motherlode. +++++

I'm glad you have BoB on your list. It's a classic.

There was a light hearted show on USA that was mildly entertaining... Psych. If you can tolerinate shows like Monk then this is for you. I found it laughable, but a bit too cheesy at times. Eitherway, it was entertaining if you're looking to fill the void.

Supernatural. It's one of those series where you wouldn't miss much if you skip a couple of episodes, but then again, having said that, if you watch it back-to-back it's like 10x better.

Other recommendations are Frasier and Friends if you're into sitcoms.

I've been watching The Practice the past couple days. It's such a good series. It's one awesome storyline after another, it never gets boring. It's so sad ratings tanked in the 7th season then as a result of the budget cuts most of the big stars got fired and they weren't around for the final 8th season(8th season was more of a Boston Legal prequel).

I just watched Invasion all the way through, thanks to whoever that suggested this show btw., and I thought it was awesome. It had the same fast pace as shows like Prison Break and I actually enjoyed it a whole lot.
I can't believe they cancelled this one either...I mean, what are these execs taking when they hit that cancel button on a show like this.
