Spend that money on a CRT monitor that is over 19". LCD is over rated, and CRTs are still better for gaming.

I think the best LCD for gaming is the Hyundai LD90+. It's very fast and have a very good picture quality. And it supports both DVI and VGA

If you have the money look towards the Hyundai\Viewsonic\Samsung 8ms panels.
Just don't cheap out on one to save money.....

I sell that monitor at the shop and I can say from personal experience that it is a good 19" LCD at a reasonable price. It's certainly not the best gaming LCD on the market, but I haven't noticed any ghosting in any of the 3dmarks (01-05). I say go for it, especially at that price!

Well I found another one almost identical to the one I posted, except it's 12ms instead of 16ms and it only costs like $4 more, lol. http://www2.newegg.com/Product/Produ...82E16824009030

I can vouch for the Hyundai, I have one here (Along with a Viewsonic vx910) and can say that they are both great for gaming. Although they might be a little more then your willing to spend. I would shoot for the L90D+ if you can afford it.
