Question Should I'm #2 be opened or closed?

You make the call. Should it remain closed, or should it be opened again?

We might as well just have ONE really large spam thread.. because if you think about.. in a few days (or weeks even).. ANOTHER one is going to get started. And then that one is going to get closed .. and soforth.

Might as well make an official "spam" thread. Just to keep all of the people happy.

either that or start locking all threads if they become more then 500 posts (because by then.. the real topic is long gone been thrown out the window)...

I would say even 300 is getting a bit OTT. The only one I remeber going very large and staying on topic, was with the 'shimmering monitor problem' - it went on for ages, but stayed on topic.

Ack.. going off topic now

Tough choice....

ONe would say its good to have a place where people vent/spam so it wont spill over to everywhere else, another would say close it, cause its usless and immature...

Heres a thought....Can you set it up so that who ever posts in there, that it wont add to your post count?! Im sure people are only using that place to add to there post count.

IF we can, lets see how much longer the thread will stay afloat!!!!

OR another thought...well, lesson maybe...

Why not DEL the whole thing, so it affects everyones post count. A lesson on TOUGH LOVE of the people who liked to spam?!

Just a thought for the people who hate that thread.

That may be a good lesson....Like i mentioned above, sometimes TOUGH LOVE needs to be applied to get the point across. IN this case, del the thread will eliminate everyones post on there, thus reducing there post count. In this, hoping people will learn not to creat such useless spammage.

Hmmmm, the poll is running very close right now. I'm not very passionate about it either way, so I'll sell my vote to the highest bidder!
