It's actually only new on Steam, as it's been out for months now.

I still think Team Fortress 2 and Tribes: Ascend are the cream of the crop when it comes to F2P shooters. Blacklight isn't bad, it just isn't as good (or even unique) as those two games.

downloaded the game and played it for a couple of rounds. the user interface seems to be an absolute cluster**** . other than that, i guess it's okay. it seems most similar to brink in terms of gameplay. i'm not really sure what the 'hook' is to keep playing this game though.

This game is actually really fun. It has a fast paced MW type feel to it, except it has a ton of customization. Oh and a cool "hard suit" (mech) mechanic to it.

I downloaded it and when I got to the title screen, I couldn't do anything. I couldn't type or click anything, but it didn't freeze. Weird.
