Default Endless WU

At least i know why our CPU count is less than half the number of CPU. All our PII boxes have these nice big WU that take till somewhere around end of september (50+ days) to finish.

Would it be terribly rude to kill them all?

Bad? well thats all up to you.
some of the proteins have 50 day deadlines most of them do not
you can check them here http://folding.stanford.edu/psummary.html if you not already knew

every now and then i see a point boost i alway's thougt it where youre PIII machines. And i think alot of folders are still using PIII machines.

At the end last week i added a 1.7 williamte P4 and a 2.6 northwood not the fastest of systems , wich will not run 24/7 but 90% of the week so new additions are still beeing added once awhile

So is it rude ? no its not they did there job ..
Anny way all up to you.

[edit]
ohh p2's mis read from me , don't think even with gromacs that they are of anny use

I switched my P2 boxes over to GAH, so I no longer have to worry about missing deadlines. Supposedly somewhere between gromacs and tinkers as far as efficiency.

Gromacs or tinkers?...If it's tinkers, you should switch to gromacs on those pII's...would be a nice boost. So if they are tinkers, and ofcourse not too far on the way... I should delete them.... but that's up to you
