Anyone else getting the non-responsive controller issue? Every 4-5 times I wake the unit the controller doesn't respond and I have to hard reboot the PS5.

It's around google a bit, so I'm not the only one. I hope it's fixed via update soon...

Haven’t had that, but have had disc read issues on power up where I have to eject the disc and reinsert, supposedly tied to having a usb hard drive attached to the system.

I haven't tried any discs yet....it's a minimal p.i.t.a. though. I just hope it's a firmware issue and not a defective controller.

Amazon is doing the same. Before I scored mine I was seeing $900>$1200 off and on.

I really wish buyers would wise up and stop paying these inflated prices. Just make it not worth it for scalpers, drive them out of business.

This thing is sick. Downloading NBA2K21 right now. The controller is really much more comfortable, and the built-in mic is awesome; really hoping this brings console gamers back to the days of xbox360 where everyone had a mic. I noticed with PS4 that no one ever talked or even had a mic plugged in. It sucks playing a PUG with random ppl and no one communicates. The mic quality seems quite good and the speaker works good too!

Gonna buy Demon Souls probably tomorrow or once I get bored of 2K.

I've been playing the heck out of Demon's Souls...no jet engine sound from the fans, fast loading times and the most comfortable controller I've ever used. Tough combo to beat.

I was considering buying Demons Souls.. but $70? Are they smoking ****ing crack? It's not even a new IP..

Looking at Nioh2. They have a PS5 enhanced version for $49.99. I never played Nioh1, but I heard they are quite brutal like Souls.

They have Days Gone for free, so I picked that up. It's actually really, really good. I didn't like The Last of Us due to the focus on stealth rather than combat, but Days Gone encourages me to just pulverize whatever I see.

I also picked up Spiderman: Miles Morales. Another great game. Runs and looks alright with Performance RT mode.

they already have stickers for the PS5, some of them look really cool, like the demon souls ones. Kinda reminds me of the ps1 where we had tons of them.

Nioh games are amazing when doing co-op with a friend, pretty painful solo, until you level a bit anyway.

I've been mixed on grabbing Days Gone. Lots of mixed reviews out there, but I'll keep an open mind lol.

There's a good amount of free games on the PlayStation Store that are exclusive for PS5 owners. Definitely do some scrolling in there! The last God of War is also free, as well as The Last of Us Remastered. There's a whole "Free PS5" section on there!

I never platinumed Ghost of Tsushima, so I started another playthrough just because...between the PS5 and the CX55 it's hands down the most beautiful game I've ever seen.

I did..I played about 30-45 minutes and just couldn't get into it. Looked great and played smooth, just didn't hit the right notes. I might try it again later though.

Most reviewers said it starts slow. I'm not going to say you NEED to play it, but I think it's worth a shot. I also found it a little slow at first, but the story really pulled me in.

Sushi Ghost is awesome. I plat that game and I usually never plat games.

Days Boned is an OK game. I just did the main missions because taking out hordes was a PITA. But once you do it is satisfying.

The first time I played Ghost was on the PS4 pro with a cheap Vizio panel. Going from that to the PS5 with an OLED feels and looks more next gen than the 2 actual next gen titles I've played so far.

It feels like a fresh, new experience, and the visuals are just stunning...I can't think of a better word to describe it.

I enjoyed Days Gone more than Ghost, but I'm weird. By the end of Ghost I just wanted it to be over, most likely due to Open World burn out and my need to collect everything. Probably would have enjoyed it more had I just stuck to the story missions. Beautiful world though.
