Nope, why I created another account. you can just use the new account to give access to the account you really want to use. I still have 10 months left but it still only comes out to 3.70 a month or less for the 26 months after that.

You just create a new xbox account and login with it to your series X. You can then share the 2 accounts with a couple of check boxes. then they both have access to game pass.

I need to try this on PC, he claims it cant be done but I have read if you sign into the store app on your pc with the gamepass account that is active you can, haven't tried it yet. Maybe that wont work. Otherwise you would have to just use that account instead. Only reason that matters is gamer score so if you dont care about that crap none of that matters anyways.

Edit: Cant test this at this point because both accounts have ultimate, doesn't really matter unless you have some sort of attachment to your original account though.

I have a life’s work account but when it comes to spending $3.70 a month to $14.99 I don’t care. Even though I know I can use it for sure on the Xbox, only question is the pc side.

I got gamepass ultimate for 3 years for less than a price of 1 year.

let the trial finish, then I got 3 years of xbox live on cdkeys, and then converted to gamepass ultimate for one months price.

Now It expires November 2024.

Would have done that but who knows if in 10 months they will keep letting people do this. Was still worth it to convert another 3 years now on a different account but really only getting 26 months out of it at $3.70 a month.

Really impressed with the first few hours I played of Halo Infinite.

Looks great. Sounds absolutely amazing. Story is interesting so far.

Halo is fun, interior sections look great, outdoor looks sometimes nice, sometimes last gen.

However the game it self is fun, haven't been hooked to a Halo since the original soooooo, ti's good.

Last month I got one of those emails Microsoft was sending out informing people about a limited restock of Series X systems that were available directly to those who received the email...so because current market conditions inspire a sort of feast or famine reaction when an opportunity presents itself, I decided to bite.

I've been enjoying it so far. It's certainly a nice upgrade over the Xbox One S I was using previously. The One S was very obviously showing its age with more recent titles—especially cross-gen titles—having to make very noticeable sacrifices to resolution and overall graphical fidelity.

I mostly use my consoles for playing coop games with the GF, so it'll be nice to get through the rest of our planned coop titles with the advantages of the new hardware. I'll probably end up playing some single player on it as well, but I mostly play solo titles on my PC (I've been playing Halo Infinite on PC, which looks and runs good enough for me on my 1070).

Well, it is technically a cross-gen title. It was originally developed for the One/X and even after switching to the Series S/X it still had to use the One/X as a baseline. It certainly caused the overall look to feel a little restrained and inconsistent, but in general I think it's a pretty nice looking game. They're supposed to add some ray tracing features at some point, although I don't think they've said exactly what they're going to be (reflections are probably a safe bet, maybe some RT shadows...but I'd be surprised to see some level of GI attempted).

I'm going to say it....... I have a £2,500+ gaming P.C. with an RTX3090 and I prefer to play FORZA horizon 5 on my Xbox series X. It's so much more stable.

Xbox plays smoother at 4k HDR on my t.v. than my p.c. does at 1440p on a g-sync monitor.

Yup. If they'd get consistent m+k support for everything on xbox, I might consider abandoning PC gaming entirely. I'm so tired of constantly fiddling with things on my PC. I also hate myself for paying $1000 for a mid-range GPU.

Huh? I’m only on a 3080 and Forza Horizon 5 is ultra smooth max settings @4k and 4x msaa. Stays well above 60fps.

Plays 120fps+, drops to about 80fps but has horrid micro stutter/frame timing. So much smoother on the Xbox.

Might be your system. I experienced this on my 3070 but it was only when I got the message that low bandwidth. You have to turn down 1 setting for it to work correctly without vram issues. Didn’t face it at all on my 3090.

Other reasons I can think of 6 core CPU limitation is why you are facing micro stutters. Used to happen to me on my 8700K as well and why I upgraded to 5900X and never bought another 6 core CPU. I can also think of 16GB system ram also causing these issues which is why I upgraded my 10700 rig with a 32 GB kit. No stutters after that upgrade.

Mouse and Keyboard is certainly much better support than it used to be, but I agree I want to see it on everything.

It bothers me alot that neither of the new Doom games have m+k support on consoles. It seems like such an obvious game to include it for.
