Default Microsoft Pro IntelliMouse

Anyone know anything about this mouse?

My G502's back button is double-clicking sometimes and was wondering if I should get this as a replacement. I had the original back in the early 2000s and loved the shape.

I don't know about that mouse specifically, but I had bad luck with MS mice back in the early to mid 2000s. I went through 3 Intellimouse Explorers before switching over to a Logitech MX518 that lasted 8+ years (still going strong when I retired it for wireless).

At least back then their longevity seemed pretty bad. But of course things may have changed since then.

I've always had good luck with the white Intellimouse mice with one button on each side. Good size, durable, and they just work.
