Zywiec porter. Only $1.80 a bottle. (not my pic, as the the bottle has a new label)

Strong at 9.5% but tastes really good. Probably my favorite porter.

Had 18 Busch Ices for supper last night. It was supposed to be my percussionist's Christmas present, but...he already had one 18 pack, and we got thirsty during practice, lol.

I'm drinking coffee with a little peppermind schnapps mixed in, but to be honest, I'm getting tired of drinking the way I have been lately. Think I'll start laying off all the beer at band practice, and only have a few at our shows.

Yep, it's time to walk in front of the bandwagon, or whatever you people call it.

Had 3 Bud Ices at band practice tonight. Had a thermos of coffee. Drank coffee with Jack Daniels Honey whiskey for a sweetener. At least I'm trying...and that's what counts.

Right?

Yeah, you remember you said that when you wake up next to a fat woman you don't remember flirting with at the bar. The problem with drinking too much isn't what happens when you black out...it's what you see when you wake up.

I just got some of the Northern Harvest tonight. It is mouthgasm good...I will mourn this like some barrel selects and Distiller's Edition Scotches I've had in the past when I can't get any more. I'm not normally a rye drinker, but this is fantastic stuff.

[disclaimer] I've had two glasses at this point...and I don't do small glasses...this stuff is good

I tried a couple drams over the holidays, I don't buy the hype -- sure it's smooth but anyone who appreciates the complexities and subtleties of good whiskey LOL's at it. It's crown royal for ****s sake, next miller draft will be winning craft beer of the year.
