I dont think you have those options on your camera where you can set shutter speeds or ISO's. You need a more advanced / technical camera for that.

A slower shutter speed (longer shutter time) would keep the shutter open longer, letting in more light which would make the pic brighter and more objects visible.

A big moth that we found in our back yard.




This is a young Owl that was at the cemetary where I work, It got real pissed when i walked up to it so thats why its wings are like that. It was also snapping its beak making a lot of noise. I was able to get probably 3 feet from it.

They were all taken with a Canon EOS 1d (iirc). Its the $5k one... not including lenses, etc.
