Default Pink Square in BSOD with Catalyst installed....

Anyone have already seen this?

I got a BSOD when a game crashed on me today (Shadowgrounds), and I noticed there was a small pink square on it (on the bsod)... I though it had to do with the game so just to be sure I made a "user invoked" bsod with a registry modification to verify it.

Sure enough, the pink square remain, not always, but i'd say 8 time out of 10.
I then uninstalled the catalyst driver to check if it would go away, and it did.

My spec:

Radeon x1800Xt 512 mb
A8V-E SE
Athlon X2 4200+
2GIG OCZ

Nothing overclocked.

My games play fine, I have no other problems and I'm just curious to see if it happen to anyone else.

I have no picture, sorry.

A couple of weeks ago, I got some random BSOD with a small pink square. I think I was just browsing the Internet. First time I've ever seen a BSOD with a "pink square".

Specs:

ATI 6.3 CCC
Radeon X1800XT 512 mb
ASROCK 939 Dual Sata-2
Athlon X2 4400+
2GIG OCZ

Also nothing overclocked. Everything's been running fine since.

I got a BSOD too. Didn't think much of it since I did not do a fresh install of Windows XP since bringing the hard drive over form another system. But since I saw this thread, I remembered that I also had a small pink square in the BSOD. I was using the "Chuck" drivers based on 6.5 Cats. I also noticed that 3DMark06, the 5th test, the graphics were glitching. No overclocking on the video card. The 6 test, "Deep Freeze" was fine. I have since went to install the regular 6.5's and have not noticed a blue screen and test 5 in 3DMark06 does not have the glitches. At least the times I have run it. My system:

Abit AT8
Opteron 165 w/ Arctic Freezer Pro 64
X1800XT 512 w/ X1800 Crossfire Edition
2*160 GB Seagate SataII
2*1 GB Advance Modules RAM (el cheapo, but works)
LiteON DVD Burner
Onboard sound w/ DDL
Enermax 550 Watt quad rail PSU.

Try different drivers maybe.
