Default Are the battlefield 1942 "triangles of death" fixed with 4.1?

Just like the title are the battlefield 1942 "triangles of death (flipped normals of faces) fixed with the new 4.1 on the r200 core?

Or is there a way to fix it because it's not fun to play on my second comp on network now :'(

Not fixed, played all afternoon on my 8500 AIW.

I'm coming to the conclusion that the 8500 line is officially dead support wise, and that ATI is just keeping the drivers minimally functional to avoid public backlash.

Thumbs down

Triangles are still there. Back to 3.7 once again. :-(

I guess I would accept that they give support for 8500 cards a lower priority as they get older. But this is NO excuse for making things worse than they have been before. At least they should keep the games that are OK working, and not break them.

If this is the way to force users to upgrade their cards, I refuse to do so. 8500 is still a solid card for my needs, so go and fix these damn triangles, ATI.

Fixed? I'm using the ATI 3.10s, and I don't get any triangles. I thought this was fixed back in 3.8?

you have a r300 kindalike based core the r350 there was never a problem with those to begin with. My 9700pro allways worked and still works correct with it the problem lies with the r200 based kindalike cores.
