Question Hercules 9800se aiw DVI connector (real digital output?)

Is DVI connector of Hercules 9800se aiw real digital connector or it "camouflaged" analog output? I have problem with display of iiyama 631 S connectec throuh dvi to radeon using native resolution and frequency. I think that it displayes unfocused picture. Thanks

Is your monitor input true DVI-D or DVI-A .

Try disabling 'alternate dvi operational mode' in the CAT display options.

Also see if the auto scaling from your monitor's controls can be disabled and use a resolution that is native to the monitor panel.

Some monitor DVI-D input do not like resolutions refresh greater than 60 so try the differet options that the drivers allow.

Cabling is important as poor quality can lead to ghosting ; use one length of quality cable , do not use multiple joined lengths .

My LCD has "DVI-D 24 pin connector". I use 2 m long DVI cable (shielded).
I have correctly disabled auto scaling in monitor menu.
I use native resolution as written in manual.
I tried refresh rate 75, 70, 60 Hz - nearly the same display effect.
"alternate dvi operational mode" disabled

no change...I try to reconnect dvi cable
thanks
