Yay! Another e-peen competition.

Mine is 20/10 Mbit via PON connection, for $10 a month.

2 months after I moved in fibre was rolled out here even though they said it wouldn't be and I still have months left on the contract.

Running on FTTH. Used to have 20/5. Then the one year promo period Cincinnati Bell had expired and the rates jacked up. My dad called and had them lower it to the 10/2 speed (lowest). He refused to let me pay the difference to keep 20 megabit ($10) Sucks only getting half speed after a year of 20/5. The upload is less than half too which hurts.

There are some places where this isn't uncommon or expensive... and a whole bunch more where this should be the case.

I've got 10/1 at home and it's fast enough, but Google Fiber is being put up in my area and should start being available in 6 months or so... if they're going to be as comparably priced as they seem to be hyping, I'll have a 1Gb/s symmetrical connection as soon as it's available for my neighborhood

.512 unfortunately I live so far out in the country that I get the very last of DSL. So I kinda live in misery. O well beats dial-up. Fortunately the phone company is upgrading the entire system in my area who knows I may get 3 meg by fall woohoo.
