![]() hey guys i had a couple of questions i hope you can answer. 1. if you overclock a radeon 9700 pro AIW, does it affect the image quality or capture quality or tv tuner functions of the card? 2. i was under the impression that nforce2 ultra boards, specifically the gigabyte ga-7nnxp have an option to lock ur agp and pci at 66/33 respectively, so you don't damage ur peripherals and controllers when u overclock. is this correct? thanks in advance for your informative responses! ![]()

![]() 1) it shouldn't affect the image quality or any of the other AIW functions unless you are really overclocking. i would still bring it back to stock speeds if you want to use those features though, just in case. overclocking won't improve the aiw functions. 2) i am not sure what you are talking about here, but when you overclock your videocard, your agp and pci frequencies do not change. changing the agp frequency doesn't do anything except for cause instability, so don't touch this setting in bios. |

![]() thanks for the help guys, sorry bout the misunderstanding for question 2. i was referring to fsb overclocking, not aiw overclocking. i was thinking about just playing it safe with the 9700 aiw, but does anyone have actual first hand experience with overclocking one and the results of their aiw functions during/after the overclock?
