Default It's happening again >_>

All my files, and ... music are starting to crap out, when someone signs on Xfire/MSN, the sound has problems.
>_> There's a topic about this somewhere in here, apparently it was my power supply, but right now I'm running on multiple ones.
So... WTF.

Btw, why is my HDD light beeping ALL the time, even when I'm not... doing, anything. 0.o

What might have caused this:
Long nights with torrents (But they're going on another drive)
Partitionmagic
-> I had resized my partition for Vista, disliked Vista, then resized it back to normal.

your running on multiple PSUs??? As in more then one at a time? Yes, I know about redundant or auxillary PSUs, but how do you mean this?

I know, hence I said "luck". I was there in that last thread about your PSUs, I know it's not your fault. But your luck has a TERRIBLE habit of kicking you in the nuts I've noticed, LOL!!!

Well, I don't think I've had this sucker for more then 30 days, so I can bring it back, and trade it in for a 500w one. ($20-$40 extra, and we're tight on money right now )

Edit: Nevermind, I looked in your system specs tab, yeah, replace that sucker with a better brand. Don't get anything less then an Antec. Consider that the BARE minimum in PSUs and you'll be safer.

Anyways, I'm gonna go to the store (hopefully today, most likely Friday) and trade this bugger in for a 500w, think that'll do it?

Depends on the brand. Don't pick up ANYTHING that isn't a MAJOR name brand talked about here or on other forums. As I said, set Antec as your minimum, PC Power and Cooling as your maximum, and anything in between will serve you well.

What brand? If it's an Antec, Enermax, or something equivelent, do it, it's worth it to have a stable and well known power supply. Once you have that, nobody will bother you about PSUs in troubleshooting steps again.

Mmkay, even though my computer seems to have problems, it's not half as bad as last time, I can still run games and music, as long as I'm not doing ANYTHING else to my HDD. (IE. Defragging, using torrents in any way, extracting/compressing stuff, using VS05, gaming)

Yeah, this realy sounds like the PSU problems you were having before but less intense then before. Your gonna have a stable system bro, don't lose faith. Get that new PSU and we can really get there.

Brand/model? I know 520watt, but what brand is it and is it part of a specific model line?

Once again <- System specs.
Same gawd damn maker, AcePower, because that's all the store had. And I'm just throwing this out there, but maybe it's the crappy MB I have in my computer?
It's so crap, it lacks the ability to find the first, third, and forth primary IDE controllers, it's heat sensor for the processor is broken, and it's integrated sound card is broken. How? No idea. I've never dropped this.

Have you ruled out memory ? Throwing together mismatched modules is problematic, what`s it run like with just the 1 gig module alone ?

Wow. I uhh, changed the plug that my second HDD goes into, (on my mb) and it seems to have fixed the problem, hopefully permanently.
I'll post here again if the problem returns. But LOL. Next on my list to update is my Mobo.
