It's good you're finally communicating better what works. I thought it's common sense to communicate during sex.

I don’t know man, she does seem to be one of those girls who just expects their partner to understand their needs... which to me is rather impossible given my poor communication skills and her inability to see things from another person’s perspective.

This may sound insane, but she was the one who told me to learn more from porn since she felt I wasn’t versatile enough. But now she is giving me this, I really am at a loss here.

I am actually one who gets off on experimenting (like bathroom sex) buts she just disregards my likes with a hard no. Honestly, I am starting to get rather tired of thinking how long my upcoming drought will be. It always makes me insecure and wary of how she is cheating on me, regardless if she is apart from me outside work only 2-3 hours a week. She goes out skating with friends and a male friend she met years before me introduced her there, giving her free lessons... she always acts high as a kite before she goes, adding to my suspicions. She is an avid snowboarder and this dude taught her everything years before, but deep inside, I don’t like it. Call it my insecurity if you will. But being the boyfriend, I choose to be supportive anyway. As potentially stupid that makes me.

It’s like she is doing everything for us to have a cozy home and a future, but doesn’t think I am capable of making my own decisions, and at times, how her behaviour affects my self esteem. She has a really bad habit of stepping on me while I am down when fellow friends laugh at my quirks, and that feeling of having nobody on my side when that happens really hurts.

There’s been something recurring in my mind lately and I don’t mind sharing it with you guys. It’s like I have spent a whole darn year building up her self esteem and thinking about her needs, what have she done for me really? Yes love should be unconditional and I have been doing all I can to give her that... but the fact that she doesn’t think much of my desires really make me question how much I can take this in the future. She does chores and am considerate preparing breakfast and dinner for me sometimes, but I can’t help but feel unfulfilled since she just bosses me around.

She says she loves me and all her friends and family seem to be really convinced I am the one (her mom is already inquiring if we will have kids), and despite her flaws I can’t imagine a life without her, but man... I am getting so tired of not getting my needs met and being so chicken to bring out the major issues. Really have to be a man for once if I stand a chance to get married.
