Does the Catalyst drivers work on mobile radeon series?

(dunno if this has been asked already, but I've looked for it and I haven't found)

Yep, they do work. I'm running the catalyst driver on my Dell with a Mobile Radeon 7500. However, I think you have to use the 'powered by' version. Although both versions worked on my comp, the powered by seems to be more stable.
I do not know if they're supported.

How did you get them install? Everytime I try to isntall I get INF not found... If I force install, I just get blackscreen...

I have I8100 too

Nice notebooks.

Indeed nice notebooks...

ok, here's what I did:

I had the 9030 running, uninstalled the driver using the control panel. I did not reboot and ran the the catalyst driver exe (powered by). BTW I also got the inf not found thingy but continued anyway. Then I rebooted. After reboot the old drivers still showed up. Therefore I manually installed the catalysts using the driver update function.
That was it! Then I had to run the setup in the CPanel folder to get the nice new tabs

I'm sure this way is not very professional, but it worked on my comp.

Extract the Catalsyt driver to a folder.
Manually install the driver component using device manager or display applet in control panel.
Install Control Panel.
Easy!!
