Default 9700 pro power consumption ??

I've searched all over the net but can't find this info.

What is the max power consumption of this card ?

It's takes quite a bit...but from what I know, you don't really need more than a 300/350W Power supply....I really hope so.

Yep. That was one of the main points of AGP 8x, is that it provides more power to the AGP slot.

Well I tried my Crucial 9700pro with an updated BIOS for my Asus p4PE.....still no boot beyond a POST beep.

So I' going to exchange my Q-tech 300w for a 400w - see if that makes a difference.

Otherwise back to Crucial it goes.......................
