Not sure what's going on with this driver. Kept "not responding" when attempting to install initially. Then, once I restarted the PC the installation started and has been stuck at about 25% for over 10 minutes.

I keep getting this ****-message all the time after monitor wakeup:

Been like that since forever... Freesync is working though, but it's annoying!

Doesn't matter if it's original monitor DP cable or 3. party...

It's better but not fixed. AMD is aware this is still an issue.
If you can turn off HDCP you're in luck or use older driver. I know 18.3.4 works ok.

Radeon RX Vega Series graphics products may experience elevated memory clocks during system idle. WTF!!!!

RX vega are their latest graphics cards and this seems to be have been around for a few releases. Come on AMD get your fuc**ng act together you need to fix sh*t like this NOW.

I think it's totally unacceptable that they are releasing sh*t drivers like this. OK they can say 'hey here's a new driver for XYZ release and it works OK for that' but it's a fuc**ng clusterfu** for everything else.

I'm also getting notifications to "upgrade to 18.5.1". I'm running 18.8.1 for Christs sake. Will you please stop releasing this **** and give us decent drivers for RX Vega thank you.

You have more problems with drivers than anyone I know. I am suspecting it is something else, and not the drivers. Possibly anti-virus, or some other conflict. I would suggest you disable fast start if you haven't already, reboot your machine, uninstall old drivers, ddu in safe mode and re-install. Why disable fast start? Because it is just a hybrid hibernation that causes a lot of problems, specially when it comes to graphic cards and drivers.

It showed up as an update for 18.9.1 took a while to install ie no progress bar.
My fault though I forgot to check windows updates first had the monthly roll-up installing at the same time as well as the ghastly KB4100347
I had issues after rebooting until I uninstalled the plague that is KB4100347.
2 reboots later and everything been fine since.

Only issues are the new norm no Virtual Super Resolution my monitor's been "unsupported" since 18.2.2 and of course no HDCP since the mid 17.x series.
Both may work if I was willing to give up Displayport/120Hz and go back to hdmi/60Hz
Link errors are actually down to Win 7 levels compared to Win8/8.1 and earlier versions of Win 10.
I've also had 2 instances where coming out of sleep results in a 640x480 display turning the monitor off and back on corrects it..Same as in Linux with AMD's open driver.
