Yeah, spoofing a sender is pretty easy to do. Even if it doesn't look scammy, you can always mouse over the links to see if they are official or see if they match what they claim to be, and in the case of big sites with logins, you can always just go to the main site and login to see if there's a message. Basically everything that will tell you in an email if something is wrong has a way to show that on their site after you login, and if you're navigating to the official site on your own rather than clicking a link, it's much, much more elaborate to fake/hijack.

was the best so far. sender didn't identify as an alphabet soup addy. any like it I get, it's highlighted and googled to see what comes up that I noticed the second card was actually Gard. knew it was a bit off, as anything from paypal goes to another email,
