![]() so at 199 ... it looks like this is what my daughter is getting ... sooo how much of a hassel will it be to get the music off her video ipod to the iphone? 99% of the music was purchased off of itunes, im hoping (crossing fingers) that she will be able to move the 'copywright' (or whatever) from the ipod to the iphone. thanks in advance |

![]() do you have the music stored on your computer's harddrive? if so, it's just as simple as connecting it to the usb and letting itunes copy it over to the new device. just like copying stuff to your iPod now. no issues. if your'e doing something foolish like copying stuff to your iPod and erasing the stuff from your computer (I know many people who do this nonsense) then you need this guide. you should take her to half price books or something similar in your area. That way she can rip her own stuff at higher bit rates. Be sure you keep all your music and video on a hard drive. You're probably not as meticulous as me when it comes to organizing mp3's and h.264's, but having it on a central location just in case is a plus. Last edited by Razeus : Jun 9, 2008 at 04:51 PM. |

![]() thanks ... not really sure what or how shes doing it ... but i doubt shes wiping them off the hdd. so just connect the iphone ... itunes will recognize it and i can just drag the music into the iphone ... sweetness |

![]() yes. you'll set up the iPhone by giving it a name and selecting your calling plan (and I recommend you up the text messaging being that she's a girl). Then you'll sync it they way you've been syncing your iPod. All your playlists and such remain the same. |
