just about any car will fit an aftermarket deck. you might need a dash mounting kit depending on how your stock radio is mounted.

furthermore you can buy a wiring harness so you dont have to cut your factory wiring. but i usually just wire them up directly.

hope that helps.

try scosche for more info. they make mounting and harness kits.

couldn't find anything about a mounting kit so you may not need one. when you take your old stereo out your new cd player might slide directly in.

let me explain how those hook up. you have two plugs inside your dash that go out to your battery, speakers, etc. the plug i posted will wire your stereo harness to accomodate those factory plugs. you'll basically wire up the harness that came with your cd player, unplug the old harness and plug the new one up.

you can pick up those scosche adapters from wal-mart for about 8-9 bucks. that one looks like it will work for you car. theirs only three listed for toyota. 80-8?, 8?-99, and 00+ with factory amp.

the one i posted should work for your corolla but you can check that part number at wal-mart and their should be a list on the back of the package with your car on it.

edit:

http://www.scosche.com/scosche/connectors/toyota.asp

that's all three parts listed for toyota.

im a bit nervous now after checking crutchfield and not having it listed, not really sure what to do.

EDIT: Apparently Crutchfield no longer sells my receiver, that could be a reason.

crutchfield is just an overpriced outlet.

if you buy that harness and it doesn't work you can just take it back and wire the stereo up directly. just see what wires on your stereo go to which speaker, power, ignition, etc.

then find your cars wiring harness diagram off the web and match the wires directly. it's very easy to do. you could probably do it without the wiring diagram.

also i found this pocket listed for your car. apparently your factory stereo is a double din solution and this pocket will mount below your aftermarket stereo since it is a single din application.

the wiring harness will work with 'any' aftermarket stereo. they are all the same. the harness you are buying plugs to the factory plugs that are in your car. they simply wire to your stereo's harness so they are universal.
