Went the cheaper route and downed 6 Rolling Rocks last night. Not the best beer in the world, but I like it.

Had Warsteiner's pilsner, it was weak. Weak malt, weaker hops, even for the style. Seems to me as another Heineken brand, it's imported so it's gotta be good.

I've enjoyed the Kingpin quite a bit, and I really liked the Winter ale they put out this year (Ebeneezer?). I'm new to the West Coast and I'm just starting to get a feel for the breweries that have good stuff all around and those that have an occasional hit, sounds like I should probably try some more of Bridgeport's everyday lineup.

I'm pretty antsy to take a trip out to Colorado to go visit Oskar Blue's (Ten Fiddy ) and Great Divide. I started to get acquainted with them while I was still on the East Coast and they are now two of my favorites.

Looks good.

Must get pretty pricey ordering all those micro-beers.

I always cringe when I have to pay more than $20 for a 12-pack.

Are we talking at the bar or to take home? If we're talking about taking stuff home, I rarely pay anything more than $10 for a 12-pack. Occasionally I'll splurge and get a 4-pack of something more spendy, like the Deadlift I'm drinking tonight (~$8) or some Old Rasputin (paid $7 last time). Next huge gift to myself will be a $16 4-pack of Ten Fiddy.

On that note: I need another drink, Kingpin, Deadlift, or some wine my girlfriend opened the other night?

Harp, Thirsty Beaver and a Smithwicks are in the lineup. I went into work for 8 hours today so I deserve a few beers.
