I can't wait. I think it is going to be great. GRRM seems pretty pleased as well.

Cap it off with A Dance With Dragons finally coming out!

I loved it. Felt faithful to the novels and still compelling and new. I love the choice for Daenerys. Her character was perfectly cast, can't wait to see how her story is shown based on what was in the books. The white walkers also were very well done.

Winter is definitely coming.

Have no clue about the novels, but i must say im very impressed. They seem to have the right actors for the characters. Seems very well put together so far, definitely will watch going forward.

If the series stays even remotely true to the books, my only advice is stay hooked but don't get too attached to any of the characters.

that's interesting. i enjoyed the episode and it stays very true to the story, spanning about the first 90-100 pages of the novel. however, i did get the feeling that i enjoyed it because i knew the story, and that if i hadn't, there were quite a lot of abrupt gaps and transitions between the various scenes. just an idle thought that crossed my mind while watching it.

Gonna rewatch it tonight, there's always something thats missed or sometimes things are somewhat slanted because of the excitement. But it being a premier i already felt drawn in. the suckie suckie noise through me off... but i hope they keep the nudity/swearing to the minimal. I dont mind seeing titties and all, but i feel like it trashes it up when its over done. Thats one of the things that through me off with Spartacus. Just felt too trashy with all the nudity and swearing. .

I enjoyed it. A little bit slow, though I understand why. Noticed a couple insignificant changes, but it was pretty loyal none the less.

A few more months till A Dance with Dragons... Keep on target GRRM!!!

Wow, from that trailer the production seems through the roof. Does it really look that good on a daily basis?

This makes me hope that a Wheel of Time series could happen.

Am I correct that that was the queen and her twin brother at the end?
