Peloton cycle for the wife.

Not going to lie, it’s pretty neat. I can see myself using it as well when it’s too hot to be running hills outside.

I wanted one of those so bad, but there are no places that sell them where I’m at. None at all.

65" Sharp Roku TV from Best Buy. We put wallpaper on the wall in the living room some time ago and it made our 48" Haier 4K non-smart TV look kind of small there...that and the 9' ceiling. (plus we were looking to get a bigger TV for the living room, so we can move the 48" into our bedroom) Got a work bonus so I guess now was as good a time as any.

I think it was a pretty good deal for a better-than-budget TV. visual quality is good, and the TV sound is much better than the Haier TV (I dont have a soundbar, but that's in the cards). Its no Sony or Samsung or LG with the fancy motion cell QHD mumbo jumbo tech stuff in it but I only paid $750 CAD for it all in.

I never knew it had a frame smoothing function so I was pleasantly surprised to see the "soap opera" effect of visual motion smoothness. I thought only TV's advertised as 120hz or 240hz or whatever had that ability.

None of my input sources really have an HD signal so I don't get see the true visual potential of my TV's (We're a little on the budget conscience side of things...plus we don't watch ALOT of TV, just a few channels so 100 bucks for a TV/PVR box would be kind of a waste, especially considering how expensive communications tech in Canada is......We're using what is called PikTV, which is basically a stripped down android based media box. Few TV channels and no PVR. Its good for us since we actually only watch those few available channels. Its MUCH cheaper than the full featured TV)

But I did watch the Mulan Trailer in 1080p and it looked very nice. My old Haier has 4K capability but I dont think I really watched anything in HD on it lol.

Wii-U on the big screen looks great lol (Yeah its not 1080p or 4K but big screen Mario kart and Breath of the wild just looks awesome on the bigger screen)

Oh goodness I turn off that "soap opera" crap on all my TVs. Never knew some till now that liked it. lol

Amazon sent me the UK version of DOA6 for my Xbox X so that has to go back. Grrr on you Amazon, but holy crap that delivered fast, replacement is already on the way.

Ordered a Blink security camera system for the new house. Looking forward to installing that and keeping tabs on the drunk neighbors.

lol, I guess that would be the rage thing to do. But no, I am more worried they will feed something bad to my beagle or call the cops on him again when he is "making noise" when they are drunk and blasting music.

I saw him toss some thing in the yard the other day but I was not dressed to run out and look for what it was and it was gone before the pup and I could go investigate. So some animal took it or ate it before my boy got to it. I do not want my boy poisoned or anything stupid and not have any proof.

The only thing we do not like about the new home and neighborhood is this one house full of neighbors. They also have called the cops two times on my girlfriend because her cars have out of state plates and they were "worried" and they wanted them checked out.

I got the 4k 60" Sharp last year and they are made by Hisense so quality was both good and bad. But I was surprised how nice it looked for a basic led backlit 60 hz set. No MR 120 on this one. Calibrated it to high brightness hdr movie mode and left it there since. Being that I dont game on it its best image quality setting is for movies.

Wondering how much longer we have to wait before we get 4k broadcasts that isnt sports or movie rentals...

9900K and Asus Maximus XI Hero board. Couldn't wait around for the Ryzen 3 to come back in stock, because I needed my 7700K for my kiddos build.

Very happy with it so far. I just did the lazy enable all cores at max boost and xmp so far, and under water the temps are great.

almost 16 years later i finally get around to getting something this guitar fits in that isn't a bass guitar gig bag

turns out when they made these shrunk down destroyer bodies they sized them to fit in any universal case sized for a strat body... at least in this case with a sock added to raise the neck because the neck support is just slightly too short to keep the headstock from touching

some day maybe i'll find one of the fitted cases ibanez offered... but in the almost 16 years i've had this guitar i've seen 2 and both were already sold by the time i found them
