Cooling 2900XT vs 2900 Pro stock coolers...

As you, probably, could notice 2900XT's and 2900 Pro's coolers are different.
And it seems Pro's cooler is better - 3 heat pipes and thiker ones.

Why AMD decided to put these things on Pro series? Just wondering...

And what temperatures 2900 Pros have on 2900XT clocks and with 2900XT's bios vs original 2900XT one?

The 2900XT cooler has a third heatpipe within the GPU contact plate as I discovered while trying to remove some residual solder with a blowtorch. This heat pipe appears to move heat from the core to an octagonal ring (nod to the ring bis architecture?). There is a little pipe coming out of the bottom left of the plate. Is the 2900Pro cooler the same?

I'd post a link but YouTube is banned at work. I found it to be ineffective.

Hmm... 2900 Pro has three pipes visible and all the same. Plus they have a bigger size. Could you post a link to screenshot, please?

Some of them have 2 I think- including mine.

Pro's main tradeoff is non-copper fins.
