Default Just got NFSU2......

WOW!!! Amazing car detail. I just sit and watch the replays they look almost like the movie 2F2F. Good soundtrack and massive car combinations are what makes this game ripp arse! Is this game a leap forward from Underground 1 ? This game is THX certified. Now get this. The engine sounds and NOS are EXACTLY like the movie if not better. I watched 2F2F and i was like omg im not playing the game and these sounds are going.....wtf?

I think graphics are pretty poor. Gameplay is fine though.

Actually the game play is as flawed as in NFSU1. If you are having a hard time winning races, simply take off all the performance upgrades that increase the speed of your car, keep only those that improve handling. Magically the computer's cars will do the same and it is a LOT easier to do perfect corners at 200 Km/h than at 320.

but I love having the top-end leg, after reading here I had to install the funky body up grades and that lead to a dvd cover and than after a few roll-on races I got turbo and a unique engine mode,I have the top end edge now and am the hot rod of the town ,thanks for the info.

Bought number 1 but not the 2nd. Not different or improved enough.

Give me Cross Racing Championship and rFactor, please.

I've finished the game, lots of fun to customize everything etc. except it does get a bit boring driving around looking for races

Are the road textures better than they were in the demo?

The demo really turned me off because the roads looked worse than in the first NFSU.

thier the same. however there was the blocky texture fault in the full version the game that can be fixed with a patch. the textures were so bad that it was EXACLTY the resolution of a Doom 1 texture (256X256 i think)

I enjoy NFSU2 but I haven't played it since about winter break. The races were getting to tough and I don't need any stress from AI cars messing up my race in those extra long URL races. The only thing I dont like is how you have to change through the filters just to find a stupid online game.

I thought the NFS:U series was bad. They both got so repetitive, especially the first one.
