KingRoLo is still being judged by the masses

Default Considering buying a new mobo.....

Due to these lockups that alot of people at getting, i am considering buying a new mobo, i still havent purchased fans, better PSU but see many people who have already tried these purchases in vain, so in advance can anyone recommend a good alternative to the 8KHA+, ultimately an Athlon mobo which is very reliable with the 8500.

Im still gonna try everything i can and have also seen success stories but knowing my luck..........;-)

Diseaseboy is still being judged by the masses

Stay away from Via. I have Radeon 8500's running perfect with these 3 boards-Iwill KA266 (Ali Magik chipset), ECS K7S5A (SIS 735 chipset) and get ready..........MSI K7N420 Pro (Nvidia Nforce chipset). All three work perfectly- the nforce is the fastest of the 3 and the one I recommend. I'm running a 1.2 266 on the Iwill, 1.4 on the MSI and XP 1600+ (1.4) on the ECS board. All 3 have 512 pc2100 ram.

Good luck,
