Default My Internet is going extremely slow after installing SP2!! HELP!

Guys, u gotta help me!
i have installed SP2 and now my internet is going soooooooo slow.
Its like 56k. I have 512k Cable internet. it was fine before sp2. Regular websites that i visit are taking much longer!! i have disabled the windows xp firewall and anti-virus because i have Norton Anti-Virus 2004 and Norton Internet Security 2004. What can i do to fix this?? Have u got a link that will help me out? any fixes?? what can i do! its happening to both of my computers.

Try disabling the Windows firewall. It's on by default with SP2

Have you also tried disabling norton firewall? Do a traceroute and check for packet loss as well as a speedtest somewhere on the net.

SP2 has a "feature" that limits the maximum number of TCP connections to just 10. This program should help.
