Installed an MPx 60mm throttle body. There's definitely a difference, but it's so humid and disgusting outside at the moment I'll have to wait until this weekend to see what it can do (supposed to be in the mid to low 70's for high temp). My car turns into kind of a dog when it's hot outside.

The throttle is less mushy but that's due to the better spring on the new TB. Not sure if I want to even try to port out the intake to match the TB. Next step might be an aftermarket manifold but options are kind of limited (the INDY intake is garbage). Whole job took about an hour and a half. It wouldn't have taken as long if things weren't so damn cramped in there.

I REALLY want to get another OEM throttlebody for my car to have it milled out... I could spend a pretty penny and get a Dinan throttlebody, but I can have it bored out locally for MUCH cheaper, my guy actually does a pretty incredibly job of this... Throttlebody is one of the upgrades for my car that actually gets a fairly decent gain.

Finally swapped ot my aging tires and placed on some 225's 17 45's Falken Ziex ZA-912's. Had them on for about 2 weeks and i cant believe on how well they perform. And at the price, $140cdn each, to me its such a fantastic deal. Lets just see how long they last.

On saturday I recharged the A/C on my truck. On Thursday I replaced a headlamp bulb on my mother-in-law's car, and resealled the headlamp unit with silicon goo as it was letting in moisture, killing her expensive $40 halogen bulbs she insists on putting in her PoS car. I was going to recharge her A/C as well, but the car is 1994 MY and running the old R-12 system, need to get the conversion kit.

My odometer stopped working a few days ago apparently. I took the instrument cluster off today to see if there was anything obviously wrong, and there wasn't. However, the worm gear which turns the other gears in there wasn't spinning easily. I backed it up a little, then wound it forward and I heard a snap as if the gears fell back into place somewhere in the contraption. I spun the worm gear 3/10ths of a mile and it seemed to spin just fine. I reinstalled the cluster but haven't taken it for a drive yet to see if that was it. It sounded like the teeth on the gears had become aligned rather than between each other.

Here's a picture of the back of the unit. The arrows are pointing towards the illumination lights. There are 4 screws to remove to allow the odometer/speedometer to pull forward and out.

I took a scrub sponge and scrubbed three clean circles on my door. I wanted to see if it would make a difference. It did. I now have a mostly gray car with three white circles because I haven't washed it in a year.

Bring my Z to car wash. Shiny, but not clean enough. Seems like water stain on the hood but cant expect something nice when its a $5 wash. Want to wash myself but with limited amount of water I rather use it to wash myself hehe. And need to drink too.

*removed, sanded and painted wiper arms.
*Drained and replaced 5W30 Amsoil and Filter
*Replaced oem Sparkplugs with NKG Platiums
(quite a bit of carbon build up on the old ones, don't remember when I replaced them last. Probably around 150 or so.)
*New reflex wiper blades
*Fixed/Cleaned headlamps with Plastic cleaner/polisher. The difference was quite dramatic.

*touched up rock chips.

Wasnt today, mostly just last week.

-Replaced battery
-Replaced fan switch
-Replaced fan control module
-Replaced cooling fans
-Replaced cabin filter

Cleaned up the engine a bit and detailed the interior.

Maybe sometime later this week, I'm going to replace the muffler with straight pipe and a nice turn down.

Ordered a set of H&R Race Springs for my car today. They'll drop it 2" up front and 1.4" in the rear, and are progressive springs. Should be pretty sweet. Next payday I'll try and put some money aside towards ordering some decent shock absorbers.

Not true. H&R make some amazing springs. They are HUGE in the Mustang market. Top notch stuff.

For the Vette I would go Bilsteins for regular shocks. But I'd prefer going Pfadt Coilovers or my top choice would be LG G2 Coilovers. But they are $$$$!

They'll drop it 2" up front and 1.4" in the rear, and are progressive springs. Should be pretty sweet. Next payday I'll try and put some money aside towards ordering some decent shock absorbers.
