I read the article yesterday. Look like the M10 is better than the GF FX go 5600. The GF FX Go 5200 perform even worse than the M9

The 32MB M9 is 64bit while the 64MB M9 is 128 bit. I post the reply in your post but here it go. The ATI M9 64MB is roughly about 20-40% faster than the 32MB version depending on applications, games, and benchmarks.

My opinion would be

ATI M10/p > GF FX Go 5600 > ATI M9 (128 bit version) > GF FX Go 5200 > ATI M9 (64 bit version) > GF4Go460/440/420 > ATI M7 (128bit version) > ATI M7 (64bit version) > GF2Go > ATI M6

Wierd that the 9600 laptop beat out the 9600 desktop with a much faster processor.... Some of the results don't seem quite right, and its hard to compare with all the different chipsets, ram speeds, and processors. But looks like M10 is clearly the best mobile GPU

Hmm, my opinion is:

9600 Pro > 4200 Go -> 9600 non-pro -> 5600 Go -> M9 128 bit -> 5200 Go = 460 Go -> 440 Go = M7 128 bit =M9 64 bit-> M7 64 bit = 420 Go -> everything else...

In 3dmark2001, the M7 128 gets the same score as the M9 64bit, using same drivers. However, the M7 is only running 3 tests, and gets zero for the fourth test. So it means the M7 is faster for most current games (up to directx 7), but new games that require pixel/vertex shaders will do much better on the 64bit M9.

Probably the same with M9 vs 5200 Go- the test here shows the M9 faster in all tests, but once directx 9 games come, i'd expect the 5200 to pull ahead. Then again, i doubt the 5200 has enough power to run any directx 9 game at high res.

It is kinda hard to compare IQ of different gfx on different laptop. I don't think any reviewers take into account the IQ issue when they review laptop gfx though. Afterall, no current gfx can play game at 4xFSAA with 1024x768 res or higher (ok, M9 and Gf4Go 4200 can but it is still too slow for many games).

Well...

Seems a bit more realistic
