Its a month ago, so it could be time again. Will the official 4.11's be any different compared to the 4.11 8.07 beta's?

i think your wrong friend. it'd have a better chance of being out today than it would on saturday or monday.

Forget the official whql 4.11s. Me want beta 4.12s.

The 4.11s should be out sometime soon. I would guess right before half life 2 but that is just a total 100 percent guess. Just be patient and wait.

Catalyst Maker said last week there was only a 20% chance of it coming out this week. I'd guess that it won't be out. Something gives me the feeling the the Crapalyst Control Center is slowly pushing back our release dates (not in that it affects the drivers themselves, but in ATI's attempt to have a good quality simultaneous release).

I'm in software development and speaking strictly from a procedural point a view, we generally never release anything or launch any applications on a Friday. You run the risk of no support over the weekend should something serious arise.

Ohhhh....I know now. When I said Friday I meant Friday GMT. I live in London and check for drivers in the morning since they're released in the afternoon of a North American time zone, which is generally late for me. Scratch that then, I meant Thursday.

The general trend that I believe has recently been the case is that they are released either on the first or second week of the month and on thursdays (last two or three were on thursdays right?).
