![]() "The AMD Zen 3 core architecture will be based on the 7nm+ process node & will be the successor to the Zen 2 core architecture. AMD has already confirmed that the design of the chip has been completed this year which means that launch in 2020 is pretty much set at this stage. Now there are some things we know about the architecture and somethings that we don't. Let's start with what we know about the Zen 3 CPU architecture." https://wccftech.com/amd-zen-3-new-c...higher-clocks/

![]() Yeah, this is what I have been waiting for. I decided to skip both Zen+ and Zen 2. I'm still on stock 1700X. I also still waiting for a big navi as well. I will upgrade from Vega 56 + 1700X to big Navi + 4700X or 4900X.

It's just a shame that Intel probably makes more profit off of one top 50 supercomputer than AMD makes for the entire year. ![]()

![]() The A320 supports Ryzen 3000 to some extent (unofficially and depends on mobo I think) so im sure the X570 will work for a bit longer. I think the last rumor I heard was that the Zen4 products will be on a new socket, so don't count on that one.

![]() Yes, there's a highly chance since Zen 3 might be the last AM4 socket CPU. I don't think Zen 4 will be using the same AM4 socket anymore as if AMD going to move away from DDR4 and they plan to use DDR5. It would likely required a new socket for sure.

![]() If I recall the press release when Ryzen was released they promised support on AM4 until 2020. |

AMD is really bringing back my interest in PC hardware again. My PC haven't arrived yet (getting it tomorrow) and I'm already planning to upgrade to the 4700x and 2nd-gen Navi mid-late next year. ![]() |

https://www.theverge.com/2019/5/7/18...nal-laboratory "To give an idea of the scale of this sort of machine, AMD says Frontier will have as much processing power as the next 160 fastest supercomputers combined. It’ll be able to handle an astonishing amount of data, with a bandwidth 24,000,000 times greater than the average home internet connection, capable of processing 100,000 HD movies in a second. It’ll also have a correspondingly huge footprint, taking up 7,300 square feet of space (roughly equivalent to two basketball courts) and containing 90 miles of cabling."
