Default Samsung Galaxy Note(5.3 1280 x 800 RES)

this thing is a beast, 1280 x 800 res on a 5.3 inch screen

so even 720p hd res is already not the top dog on cellphone.

This kind of size might not be for everyone, and you can take a look at the size vs IPHONE 3.5 inch

Holy cow the thing is huge.

Would really like one of these to play GTA III on though, I give u that. But the question is, should I just get a tablet? Using something that big as a phone would make me look all kinds of retarded.

Well it's about e-reader size, so I kinda like the form factor. The more interesting part will be the price point. Should it be more money than GalaxyS2? or less because it is larger, less convenient and easier to engineer?

Either way, I'd be more interested if it didn't have any of the cellar network access features. But that is probably just me.

I like

It looks slightly smaller than the Dell Streak and my friends who have one seem to do just fine with it. The extra resolution looks awesome

my old hdtv only does 720p on 40 inch.

now this 5.3 inch cellphone is doing 800P.

some crazy stuff, it will be very good for watching movie, web browsing , even games etc.

the size might be too big, but with that said. it will probably give you a very very great experience for what it does. yes the bigger the better of course, when it comes to movie, youtube, web surfing games etc.

if you look close this thing only weighing 179 G, which is indeed not heavy at all.

some 4 inch cellphone already weigh as heavy .

I met a girl who had a Samsung phone that looked like that (about 5" screen). I can't see anyone without a purse using one of these, it's too freaking big.

The touchscreen was iffy, it was wifi only, slow, and so forth. There are people who would find the galaxy note very useful. It's def not a product for the masses. Personally, I would like to have one. Sometimes I am forced to look at spreadsheets and so forth on the go. Carrying this phone is a lot easier then a tablet.

Depends on the price. If it's over $199, then no as I'd rather pick up a 7" tablet instead(like the Fire, Nook Tablet or Playbook)

Seems that it is very expensive, so no. But only because I have no interest in the phone aspects of the device.

Aye, it's pretty expensive. Though I think phone development will slightly stagnate now as it did when dual cores came out for PCs. Perfect time to buy a phone that will last 3+ years

Edit:
Unless mobiles will start to morph into mobile PCs that plug into docks.
