Default Does anyone else have these small white spots on their monitor?

They are most visible on a white screen or background. Darker the color, the more hidden/invisible they get. My previous monitor developed them and now my current monitor has one. This following thread discusses this issue and also has a few pics of the issue if you scroll down:

I've had it happen to LCDs for like 15 years. annoying a little but i've learned to ignore it. probably has to something to do with dust in my room. i've also had the monitor right next to open windows for years so dust from outside probably gets in there too.

It's most likely something between the layers. Like a scratch / dust / bug.

I would suggest using gasoline to clean that off.
