Question New DS lite owner here

Got my DS Lite the other day. Wanted to buy it from a local store incase any thing went bad and it took 5 months for a store to get one instock on the day I was there. But its all good, I love the lil thing!!

I got Brain Age, Feel the Magic, Star Trek and Trace Memory. So far I like all of them. Lucky me

Ok here is my question. Should I be getting some of those silly plastic screen covers? I never got one for my Pocket PC and never scratched it. But I know others that have really scratched up Pocket PCs

Also has any one used a Skinz product on their DS Lite? Or do they only make those for the old DS?

Well I myself got a pair of screen covers, just in case... Some people think they dull the colors but I didn't really notice anything major.

If you are careful and dont slam the stylus on the screen you wont need one of them plastic covers. Ive had mine since launch day and it still looks the same.

Ya, don't bother. I've had my NDS (ver1) for three years and it's screens are in great shape.

of course, it depends on how you use it. the screen is not liable to get spoiled with regular use (aka ipod nanos), but sometimes something happens. inevitably. a hori screen protector costs 5$ i think and it's a good idea.

something always happens...
