Default Any of you guys have USB wifi Connector for DS?

I bought one and it works great but I wonder if I should have it on 24/7 as the little thing gets really warm, and I hate crawling under my desk and behind my computer every time I wanna play some Mario Kart :/

I bought one when they were first released, use it for my DS and Wii. It's been plugged into the back of my computer since then without any issues.

I plug it out of the USB socket when I don't play online. It consumes 2W of electricity and it damaged my notebook's USB power supply and I have to have it connected to a notebook via a powered USB hub to have it working on the notebook.

They do get hot, that's normal. My PC wireless dongle gets equally hot.

If possible, get yourself a usb extension cable so you don't have to crawl round the back any more. A 0.5 metre cable will let you rest it on the case instead.
