R350 vs RV350
I'm still not too sure what the difference is between these two cards? I've gathered that the R350 is faster? Are both chips going to be built on the .13 core or just one? When's the release date going to be? I heard that both cards will be out about April. I'm currently looking to buy a new comp and so far I've found a fast ATI Radeon 9700 Pro Excalibur at 360 Euros (marked down from 480). I desperately need a new card as I currently own a Voodoo 5 5500 and an Athlon 700 :P . Should I wait for the R350 which will most likely be May over here or get the 9700 Pro for a good price and then upgrade in 18 months or so? Any help would be appreciated. BTW 1 Euro id pretty much a dollar not too sure about the exchange rate.

R350 is on .15 process, while RV350 is on .13.
From what I heard, R350 is 8 pipes, the RV350 is going to be 4 pipes.
In here, I mean rendering pipelines.
If you think your voodoo is still doing the job for you and a bit longer waiting is acceptable for you, I guess you should wait a bit more, since after the release of R350, we may see a price cut on R300.
If you want to run all the games with AA and AF now, I guess you should go right ahead to get a R9700 Pro~
