Default Harry Potter- Chamber of Secrets

my girlfriend brought this game over for me to try last night.
all I can say is, if you want an amazingly polished, very pretty Zelda style game, skip Starfox Boredom and get Harry Potter, it looks almost as good, and is a much better game. I was shocked at how good this game was, it is definately shows how good multiplatform titles are when done right.

Cool. What platform did you have it on? My bro got the PC version of the original, and my impression was that the poly-models were awfully poor (UT engine, I believe), and that the mouths didn't open when they talked... I found it frustrating too that full standard-fps controls weren't supported (no sidestepping)

she got it on GC, I've heard its just as good across all platforms, this one is WAY better than the first, the graphics are terrific, ALMOST starfox quality(if you took Starfox adventures, removed the grass and fur, the product would be harry potter)

my friend's brother rented and beat it on XBox, his ermark was "it's one of the best games i have played all year. He's 21, and has new copies of Time Splitters2, and Deathrow.. he's lost his mind, lol.

i'll probably pick it up becuase my GF loves all the books, and sice she can't get it on Dreamcast..

My fiancee saw it today and wanted the game bad(she loves harry potter). I'm debating on either picking up the Xbox version or just getting a cube and picking it up for her to play on that(We both want SMS also). Anyone hear which version is better?

I got it this morning for the XBox. My fiancee played it for about 15minutes and was digging it but she had to take off and go to church. Seems fun, kinda kiddish though but I think she was playing the training mode or something in the beginning. Almost picked up the Cube deal with SMS, mem card, and the cube itself for $189, but decided to wait. Been having a hardtime finding time to play videogames of late do to starting my own business .

I bought the PC version for my boy. Unfortunately I won't know how good it is until after Xmas. Good to hear it's a good game though. The kids like the other Harry Potter game that came out.

Default Xbox

Did I miss something, I thought this game wasn't even released yet for xbox. Like the majority of the people here I will be getting this game as my girlfriend loves Harry Potter. She hates video games, but cant wait to play this game. I live is Southern Cal area, and I couldn't find the game anywhere.

yea, actually you did..
most stores have this game listed as coming out on all systems on the 15th.

it actually hit stores on the 5th, I am not sure if that is for all platforms or not, I do know the GC and PC versions are out, I assume the xBox version is as well.

Its released in UK so its gotta be released in US ages ago! Other great multiplatform titles like Timesplitters 2 would be a better bet and hold out till zelda! It looks quite good from the footage i have seen, i wouldn't say better gameplay than starfox, i would say the same.

I have played the crap out of both HP and SFA, I personally liked Harry Potter twice as much. But I must say, SFA I really did not like, I took it back, SFA is a very pretty, great sounding, tech demo, not a very good game.

Well I called blockbuster, circuit city, and EB and they all say Harry Potter for Xbox isn't out yet, but they have all the other platforms. Not really a big deal, i have the splinter cell demo to hold me over.
