Default Startup items?...dumprep?

dumprep 0 -k

this starts up for me, and i dont know what it is. do i need it?... i found instructions on how to disable the memory dump feature, but wanted to find out

what happens if i disable this?...cuz everytime i get the blue screen memdump it dumps memory and it takes even longer for my computer to start.

will the comp start faster if i disable? where does this memory get dumped?
